Managing the name

You can control if the name shows up from the Builder profile, which is accessible by clicking your account name and going to

Now click on “Builder profile”. From this view you can only enable or disable the Name.

To change it, you need to “My plan”.

From this page, you can click on “Manage my subscription” which will finally take you to a page where you can update your name.

Adding a domain name

From the Builder profile go to the part near Website and select “Verify new domain”.

Enter the name of the domain you wish to verify. You can only add a domain that you own or control.

After clicking on “Submit”, you will be provided with some information you need to add to your DNS.

I am using Cloudflare, so here is an example of how I configured this information there. Go to DNS and select “Records”.

From the Records page, click on “Add record”.

The configuration for the TXT record looks like this.

After saving the new record, go back to ChatGPT and click on “Verify”.

You should get a confirmation message that the domain has been successfully verified.

Now click on “Done” and refresh the ChatGPT page. Go back to the Builder profile and now the domain should appear in the list. All you have to do is enabled it.
